Why we built Folio
Boutique studios send beautiful work inside ugly documents. Folio is a bet that proposals should look as good as the work they describe.
Boutique studios send beautiful work inside ugly documents.
The design is extraordinary. The proposal is a PandaDoc template with a logo in the header. Then the client opens it on their phone, scrolls past the cover, and the first impression of a twenty-person agency that charges forty thousand dollars is a table of line items that looks like a furniture invoice.
Folio exists because that gap is absurd. Your proposal is the first working artefact a prospect touches. Often the only one before the contract. It deserves the same craft as the case studies behind it.
We are starting with the surface we know will move the most dollars per pixel: proposals. We will ship case studies and brand guides in year two once we have validation that this category — "beautiful documents that convert" — is a real wedge rather than a rounding error.
The thesis is boring to describe and obvious to feel the second you open one. Good work in a good wrapper sells itself.
